HOME STUDY draft

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I received the homestudy draft via email today. There are corrections to be made, sure, but I finally have the draft in my hands (or on my screan as the case may be.) I feel like I just lept over another hurdle. There will be about 80 million more, but 1 hurdle at a time, right?
So -- we have to make changes/additions to it. Then it is "reviewed" by the head SW at the agency, then it goes to AAC for review, then it goes to DCFS. Assuming we have the Foster License next week, we should see a DCFS turn-around of 2-3 weeks, then off to USCIS.
Yeah!

I am happy for you!!! I absolutely can not wait until you are DTE. I think yours will be the second most exciting referral for me (after ours, of course) LOL!

HAS DCFS improved, I think ours took about a month this summer. Once we get our homestudy update, I guess it will have to go through all the same channels again, huh?
