Seriously, I think they keep all the good stuff themselves and send the crap out to other states. The coffee in Washington is amazing. And I mean ALL the coffee. In Starbucks, hotel lobbies, in restaurants, in the airport, ON AIRPLANES TRAVELING WITHIN THE STATE, ALL the coffee is amazing. You are reading this and thinking, ya right, it cannot be that different. But it is. Oh, it is.
This makes me even more excited to go to ETH to pick up Sam, because if Washington State coffee is THIS good, then I cannot imagine how amazing ETH coffee will be in ETH. Cannot wait!
Green Meg, if you ever want to send Sam a care package -- make it coffee. In fact, if we do a registry for the Washington chapter of the "I Heart Sam" fan club, I think only coffee will be on said registry.
Erin, is the coffee in Portland just as good?

coffee in ETH is amazing...funny, you and I posted about coffee around the same day. Buy a 6 months' supply like I did and you will enjoy EVERY last drop!
Having spent most of my life living in Seattle I would definatly have to agree that they have the best coffee! Cant wait to try it in Ethiopia!
