Leaving on a jet plane

I have a business trip to California today & tomorrow. So I packed my bags and I'm ready to go, but I wish I was going to meet Sam.
My friend Kim gave birth to beautiful Madeline Claire yesterday and I thought to myself, gosh, maybe Sam's being born today too. It's hard for me to imagine him growing in someone else's belly, but I can definately see him as a baby. I dream about him often.
Now, I say "him" but we just discovered that our chances are about 50/50 for Sam being a boy or a girl. So I should say him/her. Don't know if Sam will be a code name, or if we will stick w/ Sam for a girl...doesn't really matter at this stage.
We are anxious to see the home study this week and forward it to our CHI case worker for approval before it goes to DCFS for certification. Have fingerprints (last set!!) for USCIS on Wednesday.
So I'm leaving on a jet plane, I do know when I'll be back again. But I wish I was flying east, instead of west.
